The Winnipeg Jets are down a few forwards.
Vladislav Namestnikov exited Friday's game against the Anaheim Ducks with a lower-body injury, the team announced.
Namestnikov was injured after he was tripped, causing him to collide with teammate Adam Lowry late in the second period. The 33-year-old was able to skate off on his own power, but went straight to the locker room for further evaluation.
Top-line forward Mark Scheifele, meanwhile, appeared to suffer an injury at the end of overtime, favouring his right leg as he left the ice.
Head coach Scott Arniel had no updates on either forward, telling reporters that both are undergoing further evaluation and can expect an update on Saturday.
Namestnikov, in his 13th NHL season and fourth in Winnipeg, has seven goals and 13 points in 56 games for the Jets this season.
He was selected 27th overall by the Tampa Bay Lightning at the 2011 NHL Draft.
Scheifele, 32, has spent his entire 15-year career with the Jets. In 58 games this season, the Kitchener, Ont., native has 27 goals and 70 points.
